The Symphony Orchestra welcomes players from secondary schools and beyond.

The repertoire is ambitious and includes works by European masters as well as Australian Composers. Outstanding young soloists perform concertos with the orchestra, giving the orchestra the opportunity to experience the techniques associated with soloist accompaniment.

Tutorials are conducted by prominent musicians for all sections of the orchestra from time to time. Concerts and other public performances are presented several times each year.

Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays during public school terms from 5:00 pm to 7.00pm at the Presbyterian Church Hall, Mary Street, Beecroft.
